Climate Change Adaptation, Vulnerability and Risk Assessment is the process of managing climate adaptation considerations throughout the development of a project. It involves identifying which climate hazards the project is vulnerable to, assessing the level of risk and considering adaptation measures to reduce that risk to an acceptable level. The purpose of this document is to provide advice about what the basic principles of such an assessment are, especially in relation to project development, and what is expected in good practice.
