To kick-off its activities in Kosovo, JASPERS organised a workshop on key aspects of infrastructure project preparation in cooperation with the NIPAC office, the Ministry of European Integration and the Ministry of Finance.
The workshop was held on 13-14 November in Pristina and was attended by representatives of the Ministry of European Integration, the Ministry of Finance and sectoral Ministries involved in the preparation of projects to be funded by IPA and WBIF.
The event developed around two main sessions: a first day focused on an overview of the project cycle, followed by presentations on key stages of project preparation and implementation; and a second day focused on key issues and practical experiences from the main infrastructure sectors of interest.
The Networking and Competence Centre presented in details its multi-stakeholders capacity building and knowledge sharing activities under the Networking Platform programme, which are open to all interested participants from the EU28 and IPA countries, as well as examples of targeted capacity building support that could be replicated in Kosovo upon demand.
Upon requests, the workshop will be replicated in other potentially interested countries in the Western Balkans region.
